My bernette/Janome/elna 1- LEW
Learn about your bernette, Janome or elna sewing machine.
This class is complimentary for those who purchased the machine at Becky's Sewing. Initial class must be taken within 6 months of purchase to receive at no charge. If you purchased your machine elsewhere, there is a $35 fee that can be paid at the shop or on the day of the class.
Please bring:
- Sewing machine
- The accessories that came with it
- Machine manual
- Fabric scraps and a spool of thread
In this class, you will learn the basics about your sewing machine including how to:
Thread the machine
Winding a bobbin
Take the bobbin area a part
Clean and oil your machine
Adjust the straight stitch and zigzag stitch
Explore other utility stitches on your machine
There will also be a discussion on needles and thread and the appropriate applications for each.
