We will be offering the "Calypso" Block of the Month in 2025. This 8-month program will begin in May. The blocks will complete a Twin size quilt, 76” x 88”. We offer in-store pick-up at both locations, Lewiston or Coeur d'Alene or we will ship! In our Lewiston location, we will be offering a monthly class for those who would like assistance with your blocks or if you just want to sew with friends!

Get ready for BERNINA Round Robin Quilting Extravaganza! Enjoy two days of creativity and fun— Using the B990, 790Pro and L890 we are going to piece, free motion stitch, and quilt in the hoop! This will give you the chance to try-out 3 different machines, while making a fun project. Don’t miss this chance to boost your skills and have a blast—see you there! A light lunch will be provided.

All Bernette/BERNINA embroidery machines In this class you will be learning about the more advanced processes for editing in your machine. Bring your machine and hoops, stylus, templates, #26 foot, bobbins, needles, threads and a piece of fabric and stabilizer to practice on. If you have a small piece cork that could also be used for one of our tests. (These classes are provided at no charge to customers that have purchased their machine at Becky's Sewing Center.)

All Bernette/BERNINA embroidery machines This class will cover the basics of needles, threads and stabilizers. Bring your computer to class with artlink V8 loaded to practice getting designs ready.

Get started with this beautiful form of hand-sewing. Using paper templates, you will create a classic Grandmother's Flower Garden block. Learn the basics of fabric prep, gluing, sewing, and finishing, as well as project ideas to continue your "garden" and try other shapes.

Want to learn how to sew? Not sure where to start? Bring your machine, or use one of our machines and we will help you get started on a simple project of your choice. Please come prepared with your pattern and supplies or we will supply a re-usable shopping bag pattern for you.

Create an adorable stuffed dog on your embroidery machine! Note the opening is hand-sewn closed. Pattern includes optional pants; we will not be making these in class.

Bernina 3-series through 5-Series machines. You will learn about thread, needle options, presser feet and basic stitching, plus oiling and machine maintenance. **This class is provided at no additional charge to those that purchased their machine from Becky's Sewing Center. If you purchase from a different dealer you are welcome to sign-up and pay $15/hour for this class.

Learn how to make your machine really yours by exploring the various set-up areas. Then we move into the operation of the basic sewing side of the machine. **This class is provided at no additional charge to those that purchased their machine from Becky's Sewing Center. If you purchase from a different dealer you are welcome to sign-up and pay the $75 charge for this class.

Join the Machine Embroidery Christmas Club and meet with a group of dedicated and helpful ladies as you learn new skills or start that project you have wanted to do forever. Christmas Club is not just about Christmas projects. You pick your project, we provide guidance. We have planned a new exciting and personal project category for every month, coupled with on-going supportive instruction, group companionship and input. Come join this fun group and work together to do all or some of great projects. This is the place to bring your ideas, challenges, successes, and sense of humor. We promise a fun time will be had by all.
