Use your favorite pre-cut 10” squares collection or scraps to make this quick quarter square triangles lap quilt. Learn the best tricks for making perfect quarter square triangle blocks – a great skill for new quilters! Class includes pattern for 54” x 70” quilt. If you are using scraps or yardage, you are welcome to use my fabric cutting machine and 10” square die to cut your fabric in class.

Want to make a quilt, but don't know how to get started? Learn all the tips and techniques as you make a nine block sampler. Advance through all the steps needed to create your own quilt, beginning with fabric selection and rotary cutting, all the way through to borders, batting, and binding. This is a great class for beginners, those looking to improve their basic skills, and those who want personal instruction. ***No supply list prior to class. During the first class we will discuss supplies and a list is included in your handout. Students just need to bring note taking supplies to the first class. Sewing supplies and machines are needed for all remaining classes. Class 1: Supplies & Cutting Instruction Class 2: Blocks Class 3: Blocks Class 4: Blocks & Sashing Class 5: Discussion of Borders, Batting & Quilting. Students make a small binding sample to have for future use.

The Stitcher's Garden Block of the Month quilt will have you learning to use a different sewing machine presser foot each month and how to utilize decorative stitches on the sewing machine. Each month, for 12 months, explore a new technique with guided instruction and hands-on practice like machine appliqu?, couching, pintucks, circle sewing attachment and decorative stitches. Pattern is included; you will receive it on a USB stick to print at home and will need it before the class begins. When put together, you will have created a beautiful quilt sized 85? x 93?. This is a great STASH BUSTER project. Experienced quilters will enjoy this quilt but is easy enough for beginners. This block of the month class will be taught twice a month, so it can fit your schedule.

The "Calypso" Block of the Month starts in May! This is an 8-month program. The blocks will complete a Twin size quilt, 76” x 88”. We offer in-store pick-up at both locations, Lewiston or Coeur d'Alene or we will ship!
