Want to make a quilt, but don't know how to get started? Learn all the tips and techniques as you make a four block sampler. Start at the beginning with fabric selection and rotary cutting, all the way through quilting and binding your wall hanging or table runner. We will cover basic piecing skills and techniques while making quilt blocks and applying borders. This class is for absolute beginners as well as for those wishing to perfect their piecing skills. With some homework, you will complete your project during this series. Class 1: Fabric Selection, Tools, Rotary Cutting. The Stitcher's Garden Block of the Month quilt will have you learning to use a different sewing machine presser foot each month and how to utilize decorative stitches on the sewing machine. Each month, for 12 months, explore a new technique with guided instruction and hands-on practice like machine appliqu?, couching, pintucks, circle sewing attachment and decorative stitches. Pattern is included; you will receive it on a USB stick to print at home and will need it before the class begins. When put together, you will have created a beautiful quilt sized 85? x 93?. This is a great STASH BUSTER project. Experienced quilters will enjoy this quilt but is easy enough for beginners. This block of the month class will be taught twice a month, so it can fit your schedule.
