Glorious Summer is an embroidery machine applique pattern with 25 embroidery designs. The minimum sewing field required is 5.5” x 7.5” (the oval hoop for Bernina owners) and all the larger blocks are divided with complete rehooping instructions. The largest block is 9.5” x 9.5”. We will build the quilt from the center out using new designs each month. This class is a great skill builder for those wanting to learn machine applique with your embroidery module.

Advance through all the steps needed to create your own quilt, beginning with fabric selection and rotary cutting, all the way through to borders, batting, and binding. This is a great class for beginners, those looking to improve their basic skills, and those who want personal instruction. ***No supply list prior to class. During the first class we will discuss supplies and a list is included in your handout. Students just need to bring note taking supplies to the first class. Sewing supplies and machines are needed for all remaining classes. The Stitcher's Garden Block of the Month quilt will have you learning to use a different sewing machine presser foot each month and how to utilize decorative stitches on the sewing machine. Each month, for 12 months, explore a new technique with guided instruction and hands-on practice like machine appliqu?, couching, pintucks, circle sewing attachment and decorative stitches. Pattern is included; you will receive it on a USB stick to print at home and will need it before the class begins. When put together, you will have created a beautiful quilt sized 85? x 93?. This is a great STASH BUSTER project. Experienced quilters will enjoy this quilt but is easy enough for beginners. This block of the month class will be taught twice a month, so it can fit your schedule.

The "Calypso" Block of the Month starts in May! This is an 8-month program. The blocks will complete a Twin size quilt, 76” x 88”. We offer in-store pick-up at both locations, Lewiston or Coeur d'Alene or we will ship!
